Alexis Collins, product manager and product marketer

About

I’m obsessed with making products make sense to people.

I work at the intersection of product, marketing, and user experience to figure out what people actually need. Then, I turn those insights into a product they want to use and craft the stories that help them understand why.

Before tech, I worked across hospitality, talent management, acting and voiceover. My throughline has always been the same: understanding and relating to people.

I’m curious, collaborative, comfortable with ambiguity, and happiest when I’m solving a real user problem with a team that cares about getting the details right.

Vision

I’ve always been drawn to fantasy worlds.

You know, the kind that make you curious what’s around the next corner…

When creating my portfolio, I wanted it to feel less like a resume and more like a place you could explore.

I believe every product is its own little world. It has a purpose, a personality, a language, and a set of experiences that shape how people feel when they enter it.

That’s where I view the connection between product and marketing. Product is building the world people genuinely want to be in. Marketing is helping the right people understand why they should enter it.

Both begin with understanding the person on the other side.
